Part-Time Media Support – Sanctuary Worship Services

St. Lorenz is looking to fill a part-time position supporting the media and technical needs of our Sanctuary worship services. This vital role helps each service run smoothly and ensures our message reaches those worshiping online or through other platforms.
The position may be shared by two or more individuals, making it a flexible opportunity to serve. For more information, please contact Dan Reinert in the church office.

Coffee Hour Volunteers

Coffee Hour at the Sanctuary the first Sunday of every month has been a hit! We are seeking Coffee Hour Hosts to prepare, greet, serve, and tidy up. We gladly work with you so that you get familiar with where everything is and how to set up. It’s a great way to catch up with friends and spread a bit of joy. Help us spread joy at Wellspring!

We’re putting together a collection of fun, practical, and cheerful prizes to bring smiles to the faces of our friends at Wellspring during their much-loved bingo games. These small gifts go a long way in brightening someone’s day! Here are a few prize ideas to get you started: Earrings, Sunglasses, Chapstick or lip balm, Pens, Large print word search or sudoku books, Body wash or lotion, Hairbrushes, Small craft kits, Treats like chocolate bars, chips, or sodas. We’re also collecting bird food donations (seed, suet, etc.) to help keep the courtyard feeders full, and the atmosphere peaceful and full of life. Donations may be dropped off at the Church Office until July 31. Thank you for helping make life a little brighter for our neighbors at Wellspring!

S.O.R.T. Recyling 

S.O.R.T. (Sally’s Organized Recycle/Trash) is a ministry dedicated to reducing landfill waste and promoting stewardship of material blessings, inspired by Matthew 25:14-30. They serve by 1) promoting proper curb-side recycling 2) coordinating the donation of items for local school STEM programs and 3) sharing ways to donate or recycle used or surplus items like furniture, clothing, appliances, and household items.

2025 Altar Flower Calendar

Would you like to provide flowers for the altar vases? You may select a date to do so in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special anniversary, birthday, etc. The 2025 Altar Flower Calendar is posted in the church narthex (lobby) on the east wall of the center entrance. Just sign-up on any open date; you will be contacted as the date draws near about the details. Donations to the Altar Guild are also accepted to help pay for flowers when no one has signed up. 50th Annual Volksläufe

For five decades, the Volksläufe has brought together runners from all walks of life, making it far more than a race — it’s a cherished community tradition! The Volksläufe, meaning “The People’s Race” in German, embraces the spirit of family, friendship, and fitness, inviting participants to a fun and meaningful celebration. Hosted by the Frankenmuth Jaycees, this year’s event is set to be our biggest yet, with every mile and every cheer contributing to charitable causes close to our community’s heart.

Bike MS: Bavarian Breakaway 2025

Join the National MS Society in the fight to cure MS and support those affected by it. We’re looking for 50+ volunteersto help make our 2025 Bike MS: Bavarian Breakaway a success! The event will take place on Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 24 in the Hertiage Park. Volunteer roles include: First Aid Tent, Food & Beverage Team, Rest Stops, and Spirit Team with shifts ranging from 6:30 a.m. Saturday to 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Help us create an unforgettable weekend—and move one step closer to a world free of MS.

The Catholic Charities of Shiawassee & Genessee Counties are in need of foster care families / parents. There are currently 10,000 children in Michigan thare are in need of a family. If you have it in your heart, or are an empty nester, and just want to show the love that you have to give, please reach out to Becky Robinson. The Franklin Avenue Mission (FAM), our ministry partner of 10 years, has several opportunities to serve.
